A new chapter

More than a pageant

Miss Tanzania is one of the nation’s most prestigious cultural, tourism and empowerment platforms — a national showcase of identity, creativity and the natural beauty of Tanzania.

For 2026 the competition enters a new era under Lamata Village Entertainment, bringing renewed structure, creative direction and a vision aligned with Tanzania’s development and tourism potential.

Beauty is not only physical appearance. It is character, culture, intelligence and impact.

Beauty for Positive Change — the 2026 theme

Seven zones. One crown.

From the coast to the lake

Auditions run from September through November, across every region of mainland Tanzania — the cities, the rural communities and the campuses.

The final stage

Twenty-one women. One night.

Twenty-one days of leadership training, cultural excursions, media coaching and community service — then the grand final in Dar es Salaam on 12 December.

What this platform is for

  1. Empowering young women

Real skills for leadership, entrepreneurship and global representation. Through mentorship, workshops and training, participants gain confidence, business knowledge, public-speaking ability, and a deep appreciation of Tanzanian cultural identity.

  2. Strengthening regional representation

Full national inclusion, from cities to rural communities and universities. Every region becomes part of the story, reflecting Tanzania’s diversity just as its tourism destinations do — where every location offers something no other can.

  3. Increasing entertainment and tourism value

Through high-quality storytelling, Miss Tanzania becomes a visual journey across the country. Auditions, contestant journeys and regional showcases highlight Tanzania’s landscapes, culture, fashion and lifestyle.

  4. Building lasting partnerships

Meaningful engagement for brands through media exposure, event integration and CSR alignment. Sponsors connect with youth, families and tourism audiences while supporting a platform that promotes national pride.
